Yale Club of London: Country Walk with Summer Interns

  • 19 Jun 2010
  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Box Hill, Surrey

The Yale Club of London invites you to meet this year's group of British Bulldogs summer interns and enjoy a day out in the countryside.

In past years, this relaxing day has been a great opportunity to show the interns a bit of England outside the capital.  They are always keen to meet alums living in the city and find out about their experiences here, so why not come along and enjoy the natural beauty of a summer's day in the Chilterns, Surrey Hills or another nearby rural corner?

LOGISTICS:

Meet near the ticket windows at Victoria Station at 9:00am sharp to catch the 9:31 train to Boxhill & Westhumble station.  Form yourselves into groups of four and buy a "Groupsave" ticket to save 50% on ticket prices.  Those near other lines may join the train at Clapham Jct. at 9:37.  Train arrives 10:21.  We climb Box Hill and White Hill, then descend to the Running Horses in Mickleham for a pub lunch.  We continue along the Mole Valley to Leatherhead, where the walk ends.  Most likely return train: 16:33 from Leatherhead, arriving Victoria 17:28.
