About the Event:

HEC Paris MBA Alumni UK, ESCP Europe, and Yale School of Management invite you to an evening with Michel Mossessian, a world-class architect delivering acclaimed projects in London and internationally. The evening will start with a talk by Michel Mossessian on the topic of "London and Paris, a tale of two future cities", followed by networking drinks.

What makes London the financial hub it is today? Is London a role model for Paris? How is urban organisation defining the two cities’ future?

*****

About the Speaker:
Michel Mossessian, a French architect based in London, has accrued numerous industry accolades on both sides of the Atlantic. His lecture will take us on a journey of urban movement and connection, reviewing how London has evolved since the 1980’s to become the world’s major financial centre, surpassing New York, and the story of mutual influence and competition it nurtures with Paris, as the French capital embarks on its ambitious Le Grand Paris project.

He will illustrate the talk with his experience and vision, having designed significant office buildings around London’s main transportation hubs: Liverpool Street station in the early 90’s; Paddington station in 2005-2010; and currently at the world class development in King’s Cross.
