Join us for an easy country walk in October beginning in Oxford and exploring its waterways. Oxford is best known for its glorious university buildings but also has a network of cool leafy waterways to wander along, including the River Thames. Hopefully, in addition to beautiful aquatic views, we also will get a bit of fall colour along the way!
This will be a circular walk of about 12km (7.5mi) starting from Oxford train station, including a stop for lunch at one of the riverside pubs, either the Trout or the Perch. Please have a look at the route for more information:

Nixi Cura will be meeting London walkers at Paddington 9:45 am for the 9.50 am train (it's 1hr to Oxford). In Oxford we will be joined by Yale-Oxford residents and visiting scholars. Anant and Victoria will meet arrivals at 10:50 am at Oxford Station (not Oxford Parkway). We aim to take the 17.01 pm train back to Paddington. The cheapest train fare is £12 return if you book in advance on Tramline:

(Please book in advance to get the best rate).
Oxford is about 60mi from London by car, but parking can be difficult to find and expensive. Despite this, we warmly encourage those living in the Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Bedfordshire areas -- or further afield! -- to join us at Oxford Station at 10.50 for the walk.
