Call for Signups (Q4 2017)

Dear Yalies,

We are delighted to announce that we are reopening our Mentorship Program for alumni signups for the next quarter.

As most of you know by now, the program has been designed to match mentors to mentees across generations with an efficient confidential matching process. Each mentorship session consists of three meetings over three months and is set for the specific mentorship goals of the mentee.

The turnout and success of the first three quarters was extremely encouraging. Over 50 mentors volunteered their time for over 120 mentorship sessions per annum, and still remain in our database. This breadth of experience allowed us to match all 35 signed up mentees, including 3 current Yale students. Feedback from the evaluation forms has been outstanding: Net Promoter Score for Mentors and Mentees was 96% and 93% respectively. And we have been able to break conventional boundaries of mentorship: personal development was a key part of matching mentors to mentees beyond professional commonality, and a couple of matched mentors were of a later class year than their mentees.

For this next quarter (Sep-Dec 2017), we ask new mentors and mentees to sign up with the forms below, by Monday September 4th:

We will then match and make introductions in September.

Please note:

1. Existing mentors do not need to submit a new form.

2. Mentees can return for a new match, but need to submit a new form.

3. Members can be both mentees and mentors.
