This is a family-friendly event with plenty of opportunity to 'get your hands dirty' and learn and explore. We'll be outdoors, so come prepared for the English spring with everything from sun hats to wellies.

About the Event:

Come along to a large community garden that is registered as a Permaculture LAND project just off the Old Kent Road.

A Permablitz involves a group of people meeting up for the day to:

* create or develop a community or household edible, wildlife-friendly garden, according to a permaculture design

*sustainable non-food growing projects

*learn about permaculture and gardening through skills shares and mini-workshops

*build community networks

*share a delicious lunch

*and have lots of fun.
