About the Event:

Starring Matthew Broderick and Elizabeth McGovern, The Starry Messenger is a West End production set in New York City in 1996. The main character Mark is a middle-aged astronomer working at the NYC Planetarium, and through the seemingly random events in his life, the audience is thrown into an exploration of some of life’s larger questions. Written by Academy Award Winner Kenneth Lonergan (Manchester By The Sea), the play examines grand themes including stars, the universe, fate and love (and even references links to New Haven). There will be a short 'meet and greet' after the show with Sid Sagar, who plays the role of 'Ian' and is the brother of Diya Sagar (MBA SOM '19), as well as potentially other members of the cast and crew. (The show finishes at 10.30pm, so this will be at 10.45pm.) More information about the play can be found here.
