Country Walk with British Bulldogs

About the event:

Please join the Yale Club and the British Bulldogs for a day walk in the Chiltern Hills, starting in the village of Great Missenden, which is 40 minutes by train from London. Charming villages, beech woods, quaint churches and a pub lunch await you!

We will meet at 9:20 a.m. near the ticket area at Marylebone station to catch the 9:42 train, arriving at Great Missenden at 10:23. After walking for a few hours, we'll lunch at a pub, then continue our walk through the afternoon before catching the Metropolitan line from Amersham back to London at around 6 p.m., leaving you with enough time to make plans for the evening. Tickets are £8 for the outbound train journey from Marylebone, but a group of four can buy four tickets for the price of two, so grab three others and save! Amersham is in Zone 9 and an off-peak single ride on Oyster pay-as-you-go would be £3.90.

Please wear comfortable walking gear and shoes. An umbrella or rain jacket may come in handy (though we have every hope that it will be a sunny summer day), as would water/drinks/light snacks.
