Join this year's group of summer interns on a day walk through a beautiful stretch of the Thames Valley west of London. Charming villages, beech woods, an ancient water mill and a long stretch of the river await you!

Meet 9:30 near the ticket island in the vicinity of platform 8 at Paddington station to catch the 0957 train to Oxford, arriving at Cookham at 10:34. After walking for a couple of hours, we'll lunch at a pub, then continue our walk through the afternoon before catching the 17:21 back to London, arriving about 18:15.

Wear sturdy shoes - in dry weather you can manage with sneakers, but the forecast is for showers. It's worth packing a jacket and something to drink as well.
