Volunteering Opportunity of the Month:

Not everyone has hours during the working week to devote to volunteering -- but what about something you could do in your own time, after hours?  Many charities need help writing grants and with other strategy work  This could be a way of putting those academic skills to use, building your CV and helping others at the same time.  


Here is just one example: United Way UK, Coram Campus, 41 Brunswick Square, London, WC1N 1AZ We would like you to help in: Identifying available grants and awards related to United Way UK’s work, help in writing grants and awards applications (each application should be tailored to the specifications of the awarding body), provide support in the organisation of fundraising events, bring your ideas and enthusiasm  Check out this website for easy-to-search opportunities.
