Julie Zimmerman (Professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and Vice Provost for Planetary Solutions) and Josh Geballe ‘97, ‘02 MBA (Managing Director Yale Ventures) will join us to discuss how Yale is supporting innovation in the technology and sustainability spaces.
This event will be of interest to those engaged in climate crisis issues, policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, and those looking for support, funding and opportunity in the ClimateTech and related spheres -- as well as those simply interested in creative solutions to long-standing 'wicked' problems.
They will discuss new initiatives, seed funding, and the myriad ways Yale is supporting and inspiring natural and technological solutions to long-term sustainability challenges. The evening will begin with a few refreshments, then Julie and Josh will speak for about 20 minutes plus Q&A, with some time at the end to catch up with friends and make new connections.
For those who are keen to attend, but who are not yet members, do please consider joining the YCL. It is very good value and you will make an immediate savings on your ticket price as well as gaining access to a year's worth of YCL events. We are planning author talks, country walks, charity events and hopefully access to some art events around Frieze London. Do please consider joining.
With thanks to Philippe Mastroyannis for sponsoring this event.
